PGM of Texas

Founded in 2010 in Dripping Springs, Texas, PGM is a leading company in the precious metals recovery industry, specializing in the recycling of catalytic converters. Today, PGM has moved its HQ to San Marcos, Texas and expanded to more than twenty locations nationwide.

 

PGM’s facilities are equipped with advanced processing lines and laboratories for efficient metal recovery. Led by industry experts, PGM collaborates with key organizations like ReMA (formerly ISRI), IPMI, and ARA to continuously improve the metal recycling industry.

Legend Smelting and Recycling

Legend Smelting and Recycling was established in 1982 as a small non-ferrous metal recycling center in Newark, Ohio. Not long after, Legend pivoted to catalytic converter recycling, making them one of the first companies to capitalize on this valuable resource. Since then, Legend has continued to lead the industry in developing new and innovative recycling technologies.

Maryland Core, Inc.

Maryland Core, Inc. began as a small automotive recycling business out of the back of a pickup truck and storage unit over 20 years ago. Today, it has grown into a leading name in the industry, standing as the only catalytic converter buyer in Maryland with direct access to its own refinery. Maryland Core, Inc. is proud to serve clients across the country, and even abroad.

Daniel Ball Converter Recycling

Daniel Ball Converter Recycling saw its beginning in the mid-1980s, specializing in processing catalytic converters in the Midwest. By 1993, the company relocated to Johnson City, expanding its operations by purchasing converters across the southeastern U.S. While converters remain the primary focus, DBCR also buys aluminum wheels and other small automotive parts.
